Company Affair

I have been in the market for software to track sales leads that come into my business.  I have looked around at the different options and I must say that prices and services vary quite a bit.  However after a lot of investigation I have made my mind up to go with this lead management and tracking software.

It includes an array of specializations including lead tracking and management, marketing automation, and sales force automation. This makes it an ideal online CRM software package for a small to medium business.

Last week I received a class action lawsuit notice through the mail.  I had no idea what it was about except it involved a credit card company that I do business with.  At the time I was considering throwing it in the nearest bin.  Then I reconsidered as I realized there may be some money in it for me!

So what are class action lawsuits?  Well it’s litigation to determine the legal outcome for large numbers of people whose cases involves a common question of law. In a nutshell this means that it gives ordinary people the opportunity to take on large organizations or companies with expensive lawyers.   Sometimes the class action lawsuit involves a large number of individuals who each can get something from the outcome.  This can really add up and can be very costly for the company involved in the lawsuit.

I was recently cleaning out my desk and I ended up getting so distracted that I didn’t get much done. I found several maps from past trips and from trips in the near future. I found my maps of Florida from last summer with a few salt water stains and a little bit of sand still stuck on it from the beach.

Next I found several maps of England with notes from all of the places I went to. That trip was great even though it rained most of the time. I don’t mind the rain but my map of France is covered with water marks and several of the notes I made are unreadable.

But of all of the maps of Europe that I found, the one from Spain is my favorite. I remember sipping on coffee while reviewing where I was going to go next with a fondness that doesn’t seem to go away.

I didn’t realize what a huge difference it makes when you drive with new truck SUV tires. I got new truck wheels a few weeks ago and I thought that I could feel the difference in the way my truck drove then but that wasn’t anything compared to now.

Route 66 seemed bumpy the last few months but now it seems so much smoother and I think it’s because of the Cooper tires and cheap rims. I bet if everyone did what I did they would notice that the road suddenly has less potholes.

I should have known. I guess maybe I’ll enjoy driving more now that my SUV and I won’t think the road needs to be re-paved.

I’m off to New York City at the weekend. There are many things I want to do. Eat at my favorite restaurant in Chinatown, do some shopping in Soho, tour the art galleries in Chelsea, see a Broadway show and visit Time Square.

I love live theater and that is why I always make a point of picking up my Broadway tickets early. There is nothing better than the glamor and spectacle of a live show. This year I hope to obtain Chicago - The Musical tickets and Avenue Q tickets.

My favorite restaurant in Chinatown remains a mystery to me. I’ve been there twice although I don’t remember it’s name. I know the street that it is on so finding it should not be difficult. I just know that the food is out of this world and a real highlight before a Broadway theater visit. I love New York, and I’m really looking forward to me visit.

I went to California for my cousin’s wedding this past year and while we were in town we decided to do some sight seeing. We hit all of the usual tourist spots but we loved the San Francisco ballet the most. I’ve heard that Arthur Trueger is a patron of the ballet.

Speaking of Arthur Trueger, I have heard of him before we went to California because he is such a successful venture capitalist. Arthur Trueger is also a long time patron of the Japan Society of Northern California.

I wonder if he was at the ballet the same time we were. I would have liked the shake the hand of a man whose reputation precedes him so much.

Around this time of the year many tennis fans start thinking about the upcoming French Open.  The French Open takes place from mid May through to early June.  The tournament is also known as the ‘Tournoi de Roland-Garros’ and is played in the Roland-Garros stadium.

The French Open is the second major ‘Grand Slam’ tournament and because it takes place on clay courts is one of the physically demanding for players.  Previous mens tournament winners include Bjorn Borg, Ivan Lendl, and Rafael Nadal.

The French Open tournament has the largest broadcasting audience around the world of any tennis tournament including Wimbledon.
