Members of the board of US investment firm Merrill Lynch have largely decided that chief executive officer Stan O’Neal will no longer remain at the company’s helm, and his decision could be announced within the next 24 hours, leading US newspapers reported Sunday.

COPENHAGEN — For the third time in a little over a month, a Scandinavian Airlines plane built by Montreal company Bombardier crash-landed Saturday. The landing gear of an SAS turboprop Q400 aircraft collapsed upon touchdown at Copenhagen’s Kastrup airport, Reuters News Agency reported Saturday.
