Standard Motor Products to buy cable company
Standard Motor Products Inc. said Wednesday it has agreed to acquire a small wire and cable company in the U.K. The auto parts manufacturer did not disclose the name of the company or terms of the agreement.
Its engine management division makes and distributes wires and cables, according to its Web site. Standard’s Intermotor business is based in the U.K.
